Troy.1995
Having seen the forecast for the weekend,ie clear but frosty.Unless the club can take any kind of preventative precautions this match will be in serious doubt of being on like the Aberdeen game before. If theve got any covers, the part of the pitch giving us problems should be covered to give us a chance of getting the game on.Weve been warned and still have plenty time to rectify this.Crucial game for both teams.Fingers crossed its on.
East Calder Lion
I think the problem was caused by melting snow water not draining away from an area of the pitch due to a blocked drain. I would imagine that this has now been sorted. We have played on frosty days when other games elsewhere have been called off.
Troy.1995
Hope your right mate. Even if we could cover that area that gives us problems it would help, just in case the deep frost returns.Fingers crossed.

Comrie
Tough game. Our record down there is not great. Would bite your arm off for another draw, but Livi under Martindale are much improved.
Rcfc fan
Any point here is a good one , could do with all 3 considering we have Aberdeen and rangers after that , hopefully have some fresh faces in by then too
LIVIFOREVER
Another Josh Mullin masterclass in how to take set pieces and cross balls. BBJ brace coming up.
thruthenight
If we can be confident about any game, this is the one. Our 7 game win streak against bottom of the league County, they haven't won here in ages and they're currently learning Yogiball, which can be easily beaten by high-pressing forward players (unless it's changed from 8 years ago when we tried it). Which is one of our strengths. 2-0 County. Or 5-0 Livi, I can't decide which.
LIVIFOREVER
Yeah these are the exact kind of games where good runs end, St Johnstone fans were all pretty confident on their 11 unbeaten run playing us, and look how that went for them. Everything points to us winning, our high press v Hughes fannying about with the ball bringing it out from the back "philosophy", esp with Donaldson being one of their defenders, if anything, it's a little too favourable to us, and you always have a wee niggling doubt of unease in these games. County looked good passing it around when we've played them, so when they do get it out of defence they'll be dangerous, expecting it to be a tough game, and hoping we can pounce on any mistakes at the back and be clinical with them, the thought of Robbo v Donaldson does get the juices flowing. I know we can't win every game and our run will end, would hate for it to be against that c**t Hughes though, f**k no, don't let me down Livi.
LiviLion
The run we're on and John Hughes being in charge would only point towards a County win for me. But given the weather over the past couple weeks it wouldn't surprise me if this game is off; anyone got an artificial sun?
LIVIFOREVER
Need to get a retractable roof fitted. Looking forward to the seethe on here if our game is off, our pitch is pure box office.
Afro
Game moved back 24hrs, to Sunday at 1500. Not surprising given temperatures are supposedly meant to dip to -8°C tomorrow.
EdinburghLivi
Sensible move. The weather from Saturday afternoon onwards looks a lot more mild.
Comrie
Saturday/Sunday same difference when you're not travelling down the road.
thruthenight
Probably the smart move, but it does mean that we'll now be playing 11 games in 34 days. If anyone (Pitts is probably the most likely, maybe Guthrie) plays every minute then credit to them.

Exactly, fitba fans getting into a froth for no real reason as usual - throwing around the "all weather" stuff as if it's some kind of contractual obligation that Killie/Accies/Livvy signed up to in which they guarantee every game would be on as scheduled. It's winter in Scotland FFS.
frankthetank22
How much is it to watch and has the quality of the Livi streaming been worth it? I known the quality of County's play hasn't been worth paying to watch recently but it's match day, my new TV arrived the other day and I'm feeling hopeful.
EdinburghLivi
I've had very few problems with the league streams this season. Commentary has occasionally been out of sync and there was a small period against Hibs where it cut out but aside from that its been perfect in every game. It is done by the same company that film the RC home games so you can expect that level of quality. £20 for the stream.
