Neilston, Kilbirnie and Johnstone Burgh all tied at the top after each scoring 3 goals in their respective wins in the First Division. Renfrew maintain their 100% record after win away to Ardeer in the Second Division. Kello seal a tight win away to Port Glasgow to continue their perfect start in the Third Division. We talk about his time as a YTS at 1 of the best youth teams St Mirren have ever had, his short spell in the juniors before heading to play college football in New York. Brian then returns to Scotland for a year and plays for Renfrew and Maryhill before finally returning to New York for good, where he is now the managing director of Rush Soccer, the club with the largest amount of players in the world! Games played in a good spirit and not witnessed any nonesense from the coaching staff. Credit has to be given to whomever at the WOS green lighted the setting up of the Development League last year and it's full status this season, it has been an excellent addition. Agree 100% with views on SOS League, and this nonsense from Wellington needs to be curtailed. The EOS, WOS and probs LL need to sit down with SOS and come up with a fair solution to this which until Threave moving and now this Wellington thing was largely ignored. Agree with the Thorn tweet get yourselves along to some Div 4 games and as the cup results have shown, including Threave v Thorniewood, shows these teams are competitive. To finish off the crowd at the Sportsfield for the Kilsyth Derby was in excess of 200. If the product is good people will come to watch.
