Cove looked impressive, in control and composed for the majority of the 2-0 win against Falkirk on Saturday. Was a surprisingly easy win. Expecting a tougher game away to Montrose. We started with Connor Smith instead Leighton McIntosh and the former looked incredibly attacking and willing to go by players. Hope he starts again. Also hoping we start Ngwenya ahead of Livingstone. Harry Milne, our regular left back, is sadly missed it must be said. Mitch with 11 in 17 needs no encouragement to get on the scoresheet and looks deadly with even a half chance. The opportunity to potentially go top must be a biggie for our players. CoveRangers1922 Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 (edited) Well 1-0 at the half time break. Cove will feel unfortunate to be losing after 45 minutes. A first goal of the season from Fyvie but comes at the wrong end. Cammy Logan missed a huge chance prior to the own goal. Thought Cove started the first 20 minutes the brighter side and since the goal it's been fairly even. A bit more creativity needed from Cove and that early 2nd half goal might come.
