Blackie Gold
That is twice I have heard this story at my work. It seems the committee has decided to call it a day and shut up shop with the amateurs taking over New Pebble Park. Hopefully this is not the case. Anybody heard anything different?
glensmad
The minutes of the most recent WoSFL Board meeting, issued to the clubs on 28th April, confirm that Annbank United have requested a year out and their request has been granted. Provided they retain their membership of the WoSFL they will hopefully rejoin the league in Division 3 for season 2022-23.

BANKIEBILL
Oh no ... thats really sad. A tough place to go but some great trips there and a friendly welcome at Tucker's bros pub for post-game scran. Hope they manage to come back
glensmad
My understanding is that it's not a case of the amateurs "taking over" New Pebble Park, rather it's an arrangement which will hopefully see Annbank United return next summer in conjunction with the amateurs. They just need to be given some time to sort all that out.
Inanimate Carbon Rod
Really sorry to read this, I hope that they manage to get things together for next year. Always a good welcome at Annbank and on a sunny day a cracking place to watch football.
Pyramidic
Sad news. Is there any prospect of a ground-share with one of the prospective new WOSFL applicants?
stm
Perhaps they're going to spend the year fundraising to get the £25,000 needed to directly enter the Lowland League?
clash city rocker
Hurlford used Hyster works/amateur team when they returned after a season's abeyance.
