But got to give him a chance , sometimes it can work . Have to say again the signing of players a few leagues below you seldom works out though , why do we keep doing that ? Possibly because of the position we’re in.
LongTimeLurker
...and because the players they really want to sign aren't going to be available until after the season is over and their contracts expire.

Deanburn Dave
A 3-0 win for Bonnyrigg Rose . The scoreline a tad harsh bolstered by Rose getting two soft penalties. Before those 2 they had a stonewall penalty that Murphy saved. Both defences firmly on top today with both sides favouring "the hoof". Jack Smith our new forward had a decent run out. Looked lively.Back 3 of Carstairs, Hunter and Skinner played well as did Jamie MacCormack but for me the MOTM was:- "Rab C" Gemmell.
Deanburn Dave
Good job done by Bonnyrigg to get that game on today. It was a lovely day to watch a game just a pity about the result.
dolly
Much improved team performance and up until the first penalty, Murphy never had a save to make, and although we never looked like scoring, we played well.Several excellent performances, with my MOTM going to Michael Gemmell.

Deanburn Dave
And who was your Rose MOTM? C’mon The Rose [emoji257][emoji257][emoji257]Your ref !! Joking apart none of the Rose players stood out for me today. Thought it was a workman like no frills team performance by the Big Rose.

Bu bri
If Christie survive’s he has to have a good start to next season. More of the same and he does have to go. Covid etc has hampered his time in charge but he needs good recruitment this Summer or he’s dead meat

dolly
Lets not start all this Christie out crap. We won a cup and the league under Max but that was with a team of good seasoned pro’s but many of them have now gone and replaced by young, inexperienced players who can’t cut it in this league. Before we can see any improvement, we need an attacking midfielder who can get a goal or two, a target man (even with Zander) and a winger with a bit of pace. See, this management lark is a piece of cake.Come on BU’s

Think Gary Jardine of Civil Service Strollers is the obvious possible upgrade in LL terms based on who is doing a lot better than you would expect right now on limited resources. Took Edinburgh City into the SPFL previous to that. Other clubs might have the same idea though so who knows how easy that would be to actually achieve, so there's no point changing just for the sake of it if the people who are closest to the situation think the guy they have can turn it around.
Deanburn Dave
LOTS OF ROSE PENALTIES ?THREE. FIRST ONE A STONEWALLER AND NO COMPLAINT. SECOND WAS QUESTIONABLE. THIRD WAS REALLY SOFT. OUR GOALIE SAVED THE FIRST PENALTY. ROSE SCORED THE OTHER TWO.REFEREE MADE A NUMBER OF POOR CALLS BUT TO BE FAIR AS MANY WENT FOR US AS AGAINST US.
