Deanburn Dave
Braves looked a lot fresher than us. Outstanding considering they played Auchinleck Talbot on Wednesday night.

boness4ever
It seems as though the league games don't matter now,we can't win,we can't go down, but we need to show a but more than we did today
Arnie
We have never had a settled team all season through bad luck with injured players and manager having move players about like today

Not many players currently should be there next season . Back to the drawing board .
Deanburn Dave
The return of Nicky Locke was a big positive today........although the manager was perhaps pushing it by asking him to play in 3 positions !!
Deanburn Dave
Only 9 wins in 27 league games. No hiding from that stat.
8MileBU
Give or take the odd season - For what seem like the last 10 years maybe more, BU consistently sign players and build a squad that looks good on paper. But season after season half the squad seem to be made of glass and miss half the season out injured.
Jambo'ness
Today summed up the BU's luck with injuries this season. Before the game, McLeod was ruled out with COVID, Grant had a heavy cold and Jamie McCormack, though he turned up and was in the line-up, was clearly in no state to play for the same reason. Jamie's replacement Hawkins, injured his calf in the warm-up. The game saw Smith dislocate a knee-cap and his sub Johnston had a terrible head gash that also concussed him. The young trialist also had to go off with a groin strain.
BLUE AND WHITE ARMY
a season to forget if ur being honest here, hands up not been to many games this season but all in all boness shud b doin a lot better than this,we got told when we went to lowland league"give us a few seasons to find our feet etc" well they seasons have gone now, time to put the money where the mouth is and get the club stabilised with players to compete with the league were in,a mean cmon weve just been beat 3-1 with a team that during the week got beat 3-1 with auchinleck,if we want to be doing things like bonnyrigg and kelty we need to b beating teams like this
Deanburn Dave
Let's give some credit to the Braves who played well and deserved their victory. The BU players available put in a shift but collectively the team has weaknesses and good teams will work them out and punish you.
Deanburn Dave
Blue and White Army says the BU need to "put the money where the mouth is". With declining attendance levels and inflation costs it's time for a reality check. There's no Mr Big in the background waiting to pump money into the squad for next season for a title challenge. Just now we are a very long way behind Bonnyrigg never mind mega rich Kelty. Bottom half of the Lowland League but safe from relegation for 2 or 3 seasons is our level. Sad but true.

We’ve had to contend with one of our better signings Jamie McCormack -due to suspensions- missing I think 7 games, Gemmell gate and now Carstairs out in the cold. Also the continual influx of loanees which also doesn’t help. We looked yards of the pace in yesterdays match. First goal dreadful defending, 2nd & 3rd defenders posted missing. Complete rebuild required. Maybe a change of management?

Sad but true. Do Civil Service Strollers have a Mr Big in the background or even much in the way of a regular home support? Agree with the bit about being a long way off from Bonnyrigg Rose and Kelty Hearts levels because of the absence of having somebody kicking lots of money in but think there's still scope to be significantly higher up the table if/when the process squad rebuilding is complete.

Deanburn Dave
I was through for the Strollers game..... Crowd numbers and the absence of a "Mr Big" are mute points. Fight and commitment at this level are more important.
