Started well but fell out of the game and eventually they scored twice. To be fair the second goal was cracker. Any chance of comeback gone when Jamie lost the rag . Great player but no use sitting in the stand. Thought 3rd goal offside but they could have scored more. The 10 players left battled hard and kept fighting. Been a season where a mixture of signings not performing, injuries and general inconsistent results. Also a bit of transition with donnelly Snowden and Campbell no longer there. Don't think changing management would help. Maxs record over the piece has been good with league cup, league and decent 1st season in lowland league against this season which has not been good. In lowland league you get punished more for mistakes with teams a bit quicker and you need to be at it in every game. I don't think we have played the same line up very often in games with injuries covid etc. Have lost grant,Miller and locke to longer term injuries which hasn't helped and a factor in why our attack is weak. Hope we can get the best out of the rest of season get players in with bit of experience and dig and preferably keep loan players to a minimum for start of preseason so we can get off to a good start next season. Hopefully we can get a stronger line up out on Saturday and get the win. Totally agree injury’s have killed us this year can’t remember a season like it but to blame the manager for that is ridiculous

When you look at performance against rangers civil service shire games our best 11 should be top 6 but with not much on the bench it shows . We also used to change formations alot during games but this season we haven't perhaps due to the lack of squad . Need to get back to our junior mentality with being competitive physical and put teams under pressure. Our core of team is strong and we should be able to build on that. Lowland league was never going to be easy

Max has done well , not doubting that , but that is now history .The present is telling a different story . The love in for Max is now receding and time for BU to act . Act now before this season ends and get things sorted for next season .

I think we focus on getting our signings done early to let max build for next year so we get off to a good start.

Bu bri
We need to act sooner rather than later. This season is a write off as this team couldn’t win a lucky bag. It’s going to take a huge effort to get ready for next season. A new guy will have to assess and have targeted players to go for. Also needs to see who’s worth keeping and who wants to stay. All this can’t be sorted in 6 weeks during the summer

Max must dread his phone ringing. On the stats side 15 wins, 15 losses and 7 draws perfectly balanced.

Murphy - good goalie McCormack - liability - get rid McCauley - not sure if LL standard Skinner - Decent player but lack of pace questions if LL standard . Carstairs ??? Jacobs - great servant but no longer LL standard . Hawkins , not LL standard . Gemmell - Been great for us but struggling now at LL level . Galbraith - part timer on the pitch . Locke - good player but never plays in his correct position behind the striker , looks pissed off . Play him in his best position and you’ve got a player . Grant - good player in flashes , not LL standard . Miller - we will see next season . Stevenson - good player but gets played all over the place , another player that looks pissed off . Flynn - not LL standard .
dolly
According to “seenitall” it’s maybe just as well that we haven’t had our strongest team available cos in his opinion most of them are crap along with the manager.Teams need money to compete in this league, Kelty, East Kilbride and Bonnyrigg to name examples of this, and my point was that our squad, with some good players, have not been playing to their potential. Danny Galbraith for instance came to us with a really good pedigree but never seems to play either a full game or two games running. Just one example.

IMHO the biggest disappointment has bee Galbraith, expected more from him. Played 22 out of 37 ie app 60%.

League stats back me up . Theres teams well above us that haven’t had the money and teams below us also and they are beating us too . Money doesn’t guarantee success anyway . Better hope Gretna don’t beat us on Saturday as that surely would be last chance saloon . .

Played 22 out of 37 ie app 60%.............and how many times in those 22 games did he play the full game ? Be surprised if it was more than 10. We were expecting a player who would control games, create chances and drive the team forward. Only two or three flashes of that this season.

Thanks for noticing my clerical error - for played read started. Probably Comrie was the biggest loss IMO whatever his reasons for disappearing only he knows only for him to resurface and join Sauchie.
