Clayhole Blue
Our first home league game of the season sees Annan visit. Still too early to read much into the first batch of league results. But in the same way that it was important to get something from our first away game, we need to be looking to start off with a home win. Still need to add depth to our squad before too much longer, but happy with the players we have in so far. Same starting eleven as last week I’d think.
Hauftimedraw
Not overly optimistic about taking anything from Stair Park tomorrow. Can't remember the last time we won over there. TBH would be happy with a point and that's us only two games in! Think we have the making of a decent squad but don't think Murphy has decided his forward line yet. For me Chris Johnston is a winger and Tony Wallace more of an attacking midfielder. That leaves him four to choose from. All young and maybe need the experience of an old hand to be brought in, the like of Nade, or Spoons did the job in the past Prediction... Stranraer 1- 1 Annan
stranraerfc1870
We got a great away point at Elgin last week and need to keep the momentum up with a home win tomorrow. I also think he'll go with the same starting eleven and hope we can turn the chances into goals.
dusty bin
Good luck to THE BLUES today. From what I’ve seen a really good team JH has assembled. Looking forward to seeing this team develop. They deserve the support of the town 100%. As always…. KEEP THE FAITH MON BLUES.
shugster
Bloody disaster. I was sure the Blues would win today.
tuckersloan
Hamill deserves a chance to get things sorted as he hasn't had long to get players in and playing his way. Up until today its gone as well as can be realistically expected given circumstances. Today I thought the team looked a bit lightweight with too many players of a similar style. Team crying out for a striker who can lead the line, hold the ball up, bring others into play, add a little experience and net a few goals but these players don't come cheap. The team today still tried to play the right way and gave of effort so fingers crossed today wasn't a sign of things to come. Annan scored a couple of nice goals and were the more balanced team.
Solway Star
Congratulations to Annan on a great victory! Maybe now playing like a team who did so well in recent cup games! Here’s to a similar performance against Stirling Albion next Saturday.
Le shocolate moose
Well deserved win for Annan today as they were the better team. All 3 goals were similar with us not closing down and backing off which gave the Annan players plenty of time to pick out a nice shot. 3 lovely goals they were though but why wouldn't any of our players try and close them down and pressure them instead of just standing back and allowing them to shoot. Need big sonkur back in there and possibly move to a 5 man defence. We were out fought and out thought today and need to improve drastically defensively if we want to have a good season.

Proven striker on the bench, we need Daryl Duffy to play until Muir is back or we get experience in
the philosopher
A Stranraer fan behind me summed it up " men against boys " . Stranraer a bit lightweight but Annan more effective when playing the ball on the ground in an attacking style. Well taken goals and a vast improvement from last Saturday.
