  1. Mon Embra, do your all EofS pals a huge favour and go out of league one on a high! BW from Galabank!
  2. Going to be watching this with one eye on the game and the other on the score updates from Palmerston and Meadowbank... Falkirk are certainly worthy champions but hoping they have got holiday fever now. A point for Annan would be a good result-for both teams. Enjoy your day tomorrow Falkirk but Mon th Annan!! We need it more than yous
  3. Hard to not use the words "must win" when it comes to Annan games but it is what is... Feeling slightly confident about this as Hamilton have little to play for and Murphy has got the boys playing with determination and two up top. The forecast of 50 mph winds could turn this game into a lottery . What price a Greg Fleming hat trick from clearances!! Prediction. Annan 2 - Accies 1 Mon th Annan. Ca plane pour moi!
  4. Looking at this game with hope rather than expectation. Alloa always tough opponents especially when they need points for play off position. Crucial for Annan not to lose any ground to our fellow strugglers. Of the fixtures involving the rest of the not so fantastic four you have to think Kelty will pick up three points against Edinburgh City. Hoping Cove and Hamilton do the business today and use up all their goal rations for the next fortnight! Mon th Annan!
  5. The phrase a game of two half's was never so true. First half Annan played like Man City, second half more like Mansfield! Thought that when we went three up that game was over but boy that second half was torture and genuinely could see it ending all square. Credit to Greg Fleming for a wonder stop and Kelty fans must have come away gutted totally dominating after the break. Still can't believe Wullie Gibson didn't Bury that chance in the last minute after running the length of the pitch . Any way three points is three points and the other results yesterday couldn't have been predicted by many. Six games to go so plenty of twists and turns to come...
  6. Another in our run of must win games. With seven games to go still in with a real chance of catching any of the three teams above us, but a loss tomorrow would I think see Kelty safe. Been absolutely nothing between these teams so far this season so hopefully lady luck favours us for once. Will go for a nervy but deserved home win . 2- 1 . Mon th Annan! Ca plane pour moi!
  7. Calvin Harris, Private Frazer can you hear me ? Skyline Drifter your boys took a hell of a beating!! X
  8. Time to head out for some Vitamin T. To add to the crap view debate it looks like its going to piss down. There is a god!! May the least worst team win, as long as their wearing black and gold. Hoping that come 5pm you Dumfries boys are heading home with faces longer than the A75 and more concerns than Rishi Sunaks campaign manager. Enjoy!
  9. What sort of view are you wanting for £16 at a Scottish league one ground? Sydney opera House perhaps? The hanging gardens of Babylon. Herds of wildebeest swinging majestically...
  10. Hoping that Peter Murphy is in a positive mood and throws caution to the wind. If we don't beat Queens tomorrow we never will. Looking at league table a draw wouldn't really help us with eight games left after this. Wouldn't be surprised to see us lining up with this Fleming ( If fit) Galloway Douglas Muir McIntyre Gibson Lussaint Nugent Smith Goss Ndiweni Looking forward to watching the "crap" view of "clogging" Annan getting one over the so called big team. Mon th Annan!!
  11. Sorry Jan but as Shania Twain almost said, he don't impress me much! He certainly looks fast but no goals or impact up front meant he was simply a bench warmer. How's Tony Wallace doing at whatever your stadiums called this week? Now he could certainly have played L1 and was disappointed when he chose to move on. BTW, maybees see you guys in the playoffs??
  12. To add to this list... A decent cup run (The Scottish preferably) every couple of years. A reserve team playing on a regular basis A return to proper blank and gold striped shirts I also remember the former chairman being quoted in the local paper that they would like to have "adult entertainment " in the clubhouse...
  13. Narrow but deserved win for Annan yesterday. Tam Muir excellent display at centre half and Kai Nugent absolutely outstanding. Could make for a very interesting game up at Stirling on last day of league season... Enjoyed Wullie Gibson showing the Stirling fans sheltering from the rain what the score was. Good job he got the two fingers the right way!!
  14. A must win for Annan today to close the gap to four points. Lose today and might as well start preparing for the relegation play offs. Have to say that we are starting to look a more attacking side, maybees through necessity rather than choice. Fancy Geordie Mike to open his account the day and a home win Mon th Annan!!
  15. Are we going to get back to back wins for the first time this season? What formation will Peter Murphy surprise us with today... Full backs as centre forwards? Will Michael Ndiwene start? Mon the Annan!!
