League Cup Draw QF

Delighted. Didn't give us a chance before kick off today so to reach 5pm and we're now facing Celtic away is excellent for the balance sheet. Over a year of being locked out the grounds and I've zero doubt it'll still be sparsely attended but it should be a televised fixture and there's absolutely zero pressure on our players. The only draw I'd have preferred over it would've been Rangers away given how they've been packing out Ibrox. This is the furthest we've gone in the league cup since 1994 when we won it - an away tie to the old firm will have our board (the majority of whom are accountants) chuckling away to themselves.

Warm balls?

Nope, cold. In all seriousness, the solution to fixing is to freeze the two balls you don’t want to meet. Heating balls is unreliable and the warmth rapidly drops and spreads whereas the frozen balls are easily detected and don’t cool adjacent balls nearly as much. Optionally, a very mild texture can be used on a couple of balls, but then you greatly increase the risk of mistakes being made.

With two frozen balls out or eight, you assure two teams will not meet, and will both get home draws, which is the goal here.
