The publicity surrounding the relegation made sure that lad ploughed millions extra into hearts, with that financial doping resulting in a squad of players you probably couldn't really afford without it. 22 minutes ago, PauloPerth said: Disappointingly rational, reasoned responses from the Jambos. What the f**k happened to you lot while you were away??!!! I'll go fully hatstand. A combination of us still being in the league last season, stendel still being our manager and Joe Savage still coming in would have had us 2nd place and playing regular Europa conference football this season IMHHO.
RandomGuy.
Heart just automatically skipped a beat with joy there when I saw B. McKay in the Hearts line up, then I remembered its not 2012 anymore. Guess we'll just have to cope with Ambrose being the clownshoe CB tonight.

RandomGuy.
Fingers crossed it gets called off and the fragile element of Hearts support decides to blame us for the weather. Almost as good as when we didn't tell Celtic fans our game had been abandoned until about 40 minutes before kick off
paranoid android
Harsh on Cochrane to be left out, imo - he's been great.

Waterlogged pitch, under the floodlights, hefty chance of heavy rain again, unpredictable ref.
RandomGuy.
Efe Ambrose dropped, the big Belgian Terminator in instead. Clark Brown - Dendoncker - Gordon - McCart - Booth MacPherson - Davidson - Crawford Kane - May Middleton and Vertainen on the bench, MOH must still be injured alongside Rooney.

I guess the thinking is that Halliday offers more of a goal threat and can shift over to midfield if we want to swap to a back 4 for whatever reason. Ginnelly is also a bit of a surprise given he's not done much this season.
Kyle Reese
Not too keen on that matchday squad, tbh. Too many players who haven’t looked great in their last appearances. Thought that plenty times in the past, and it’s turned out to be inspired though. Come on the Hearts!
Crùbag
Halliday in the team? I fear a Hearts: nil scoreline. Edited October 27, 2021 by Crùbag

RandomGuy.
Performance for the ages for MacLean today. Played on 3 times when players are down with head knocks. Gordon handles the ball outside the box and wipes out someone with an open goal in the same move and doesn't even get a free kick awarded against him, then he tops it off by allowing a Hearts player to juggle the ball in the build to their equaliser because it hits his knee first. Sensational stuff. Game feels chaotic enough for anything to happen. Love it.
DC92
Picking up where we left off last time in Perth with the chaotic defending. Haven't adapted to the conditions at all well. Hopefully the equaliser will calm things down but we look vulnerable attempting to play it out from the back.
