Arbroath v Hibs

Hibs fans will have a great day tomorrow. You’re all moaning about being shite etc etc but you’re a much better squad than us so maybe on the park will go your way but more importantly you’ll love Gayfield. It’s a great place to watch football, actually don’t think there’s anywhere else like it with the bowled terracing to 3/4 of the ground. It really is a great ground to watch a game of football at, there’ll be a great atmosphere, totally different experience so enjoy.

Any word on ticket sales  ?

I'd like to think we'll be looking at 3000.

1500 home supporters plus 1000+ Hibees ?

It’s over 4k like they’ve announced there’s gonna be Covid tests. About 2200 home support for Killie game so I reckon it’ll be about 2.5 home and 1.5 away

Any ground that has a Pleasureland end has to be welcomed into the top flight.

And a pub across the road.

In the good old days when we were shite, you could get a pass out, go for a pint, then get back in 😊

Remember going to Easter Road in the cup (Scott Brown era).

Let's just say we did ok for about 5 mins. Hibs winger (Ivan Sproule ??) was the most rapid guy in Scottish football at the time.  The poor Arbroath left back , who was in the twilight of his career didn't know if it was New York or New Year 😂

PS It was Marc McCulloch

Conditions looking wet but no wind for the BBC to drone on about.

They’ll still mention it though. Read a comment on the Hibs FB page, some guy saying it’ll be tough with the strong wind and small pitch. There’s barely a gentle breeze forecast, and the Gayfield playing surface is bigger than many premiership grounds and almost the exact same as Easter Road (same length, 3m narrower), yet folk (and the media) just bang out the usual lazy cliches.

Also read a Hibs fan saying we will have an advantage on our artificial pitch, are people incapable of doing even simple research before spouting guff on social media?
