Watched game tonight

Draw probably fair result with perhaps peterhead having best chances espicially in last 10min as game opened up

Ref had a shocker & Mcdonald of peterhead did get away with a few bad yins

Griffiths signing pointless but lack of service indeed partially to blame

Griffiths will chip in with a few I think but Dowds and especially Kabia impressed the most. LG a luxury, debatable at this early stage. Give him supply he'll score but enough to propel Falkirk to 4th and up through the playoffs?

Good chance all 3 are gone in the summer and it's a rebuild.

Falkirk just too wide open in the middle of the park and have no leader or physical presence in that area to break things up or give control.

Defensively they need to tighten things up. Recruitment so far from MR hasn't worked out.

Still got a shout for top 4 but things need to improve.

Peterhead are impressive in their press and got talent in the wide areas. Duncan and Savoury are as good as any wingers in this league. 100% agree they are missing a Rory up top.

I like your optimism but we've been waiting 10 years for things to improve. Time to plan for next season in league 1. Duncan was good tonight, makes it all the harder given we had Aberdeen's youth coach as our manager at the start of the season.

Howling at the commentator saying good save from Mutch before the goal, it was an absolute piss poor bit of goalkeeping and puts the ball back into the danger zone.

Have to say thought the commentary was embarrassing. Peterhead could easily of won that, dominated the midfield. Have to say though, the Ref was truly shocking and the CB  of Peterhead could easily been sent off for his constant fouling.

A few players aside I really cannot stand the team we have at the moment. So devoid of anyone with a bit of fight it's unbelievable. Williamson's non challenge after Telfer played a brilliant ball out to him being a particular lowlight.

The general opinion on the way back down from Cove at the weekend was that where we were currently is where we would remain for the rest of the season. Beat off of the teams in the playoffs reasonably comfortably and we would do the same to those below us. Even that is apparently something that we aren't capable of.

Absolutely honking defending for Peterhead's goal with seemingly about 3 players scared to put the boot through it and out of the danger area that Mutch had palmed it back into. Nobody taking responsibility of situations is a problem that we've had all season.

A decent to good end to the first half saw us in level and in a position that we really should have capitalised on when we came out and pressed with a slightly higher intensity at the start of the second half although that ceased when Griffiths was brought on, a player that really does hinder us with his lack of movement.

The McLean substitution swayed the game in Peterhead's favour and after that we rode or luck a bit, very lucky to come away with a point especially with the chance Peterhead's number 7 had towards the end of the game.

If we do go down the route of a part/full time hybrid next season (well worth it in my opinion) McLean is a player that I would really like us to bring in, considering we offered him a contract this summer we are already keen with the only stumbling block being the fact that he would be losing money transitioning to full time employment and giving up his other job.

If Kabia's injury is a bad one then we are done. He and Dowds are the only two that leave that match with pass marks. So fingers crossed.

Finally, fair play to the handful of Peterhead fans that made the trip down last night. Absolute mentalists making that journey midweek.

Thought we were great again last night and could have easily taken the 3 points with those Savoury and Ritchie chances later in the game. If we can keep up this level of performance and just become a bit more clinical we’ll give ourselves a good chance of staying up. Dumbarton at home this saturday is huge, must-win.

Must say, I was a big fan of the Falkirk subs warming up on exercise bikes [emoji1787] Don’t think I’ve ever seen that

Was pleased about how we went about our business last night in what was not great conditions. Thought Scott Brown did well filling in at the back, it got a bit hairy at times but Scott was usually there to tidy up. Our closing down was much better than of late & put Falkirk on the back foot time again. Grant Savoury provides something different but sometimes needs to release the ball sooner or do more inside the box, Ryan Duncan can be a very good player just needs to work on his concentration when he does not have the ball but that will come. Hamish Ritchie is starting to show himself to be a fine player as well. Never like to criticize our players to much but hopefully positive comments can be taken.  Interesting to see a Bairns fan keen to get Rusty McLean in a Bairns shirt, he splits our support but personally think he is another confidence player same as Payne who put in another good performance just without a goal to show for it.
