Rough Riders QB Trevor Harris is possibly done for the season after suffering a tibial plateau fracture against the Stamps so 3rd year Mason Fine will start for the foreseeable future. The Ti-Cats already without QB Bo Levi Mitchell who went down week 2 with an adductor injury have lost Matthew Shiltz who left the game & has been added to the six game IL meaning 3rd stringer & rookie Taylor Powell gets the start week 7. Kai Locksley has been brought in alongside Antonio Pipkin as backups to Powell with N'Kosi Perry being released. If they keep up this form for the rest of the season the 2023 Elks will became the 7th team in Canadian football history to have a winless season a phenomenon that hasn't happened since the 1949 Hamilton Wildcats when seasons were shorter in number of games.
