And the fire sale continues , fergie off to East Kilbride no that that’s a surprise as it’s a toss up whether him or Macca are the 2 best players at the club , looks like John gall has decided the wage bill is too much even for his pockets but whey did he allow this to happen in the first place , what happened this summer trying to get one over the departed manager was just soccer stupidity

But the advertising boards cover most, if not all of the wages, do they not J?

Looks like Darvel realising they need to live within their means, players leaving at a strange time in the season, strong rumours of dressing room unease between players and mcinally(who would have guessed it). Social media now almost none existent compare to last season. Fan base dwindling at an alarming rate.  With aging players brought in on big money with 2 year deals, this is worrying times. Darvel's attraction was money for players, also in Michael Kennedy there was a charismatic manager, although perhaps a bit to egotistical at times he was very engaging with fans and had a good pull of players wanting to play for him. To go from MK to Tony McInally who has only caused trouble and cost teams a lot of money is always destined for disaster. For the sake of the club the board need to get a grip of spending/budgets, build bridges with local people that helped run the club for years and have the clubs interest at heart. With John Gall having security over the pitch I worry for the long term plan for the club.

They must have raked in £50/60k this season from transfer fees from EK alone.

Aye and shelled out stupid transfer fees for guys who are nowhere near as good as the players who had left , add in stupid signing on fees and it’s no long in going

From a professional source, if it is indeed correct which I do believe is the case, it is a significant worry.

John Gall's appetite seems to be diminishing, it is easy to jump on the band wagon when things are going well. The current board of either his family or his branch of the tartan army supporters club are not really bringing anything to table nor dare they disagree with him.

Mate when mick came in the following years budget was on gate receipts , lottery boards and lottery

u can’t run a club any other way , it’s only asking for trouble

Agree with your second sentence. However, if you were projecting based on gate receipts, those never materialised either.

What I'm getting at is that the whole thing was built on mibbes and vanity (which looks like proving to be its downfall). Undeniable that the club is in a better state than it was before you all started this project but the doom merchants look to have been proven correct.

Aye cause the people who were football orientated and knew the game left , when we left mick was in as strong position as gall didn’t want to say no to him but mick knows I wouldn’t have allowed some of the signings and then this year it’s just went totally out of control with stupid transfer fees , silly signing on fees and daft wages ,it was madness and doomed to failure

So you're saying some of the mess is Mick's fault due to his signings?

Not at all , mick would have came and asked for a player and I would have said yes or no , that’s what managers do and it’s up to the people who make these decisions to do exactly the same thing

Quite incredible that the Aberdeen result was still in this same calendar year.  There was a brilliant opportunity to embrace the excitement in the local community and grow the club even further.  Instead there has been one shit decision after another!
