Deanburn Dave Posted August 27, 2022 Author Share Posted August 27, 2022 Tranent defence was solid all game. Dealt with every Hugh ball, free kick and corner easily. BU played 4-4-2 but Dan and Zander up front didn't play close enough for me. First half was close. Second half Tranent were more than comfortable. Too many BU players had a poor game. Do bo'ness work on set pieces? Only seem to have one, lob it into the box and hope for the best. No direction from sidelines and very hard to take any positives from today's game. Your right, players doing what they want with no direction. They strung Five along their back.line and we made it easy with no wide players to put them under pressure, we were tactically inept. With roughly 13 mins left we get a penalty and what a chance to get back into the game and try and salvage something, bur no a poor spot kick.
