Could the cup final not have been moved? There was that much interested in it on here I'd to go elsewhere to look for the score.

glensmad
* CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT - WILLIE HARVEY * Our first team manager Willie Harvey gave notice to club's Management Committee several weeks ago that, after 13 years in the role and due to ongoing after effects of his recent serious Covid illness, it was his intention to retire from football management after the Scottish Junior Cup Final. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Willie for his unquestionable dedication to the job, throughout which he has kept the club competing in the top two tiers of the WoSFL / SJFA West Region, won the SJFA West Region Championship title and culminated in Friday night's final. Willie will be remaining on the club's Management Committee and has agreed to take on the role of General Manager (a non Office Bearer position). This new role for the club will see Willie be a link between the football management team and the club's Management Committee as they seek to continue to take the club forward. We would like to wish Willie well in his new role at the club which takes immediate effect, a role which will be of huge value to the Management Committee and in particular to the Club Secretary. The club will make a further announcement regarding the first team management in due course.
Duraglit shareholder
Looks like he invested a lot of time at Rutherglen, with his half time interval interview at cup final, one of the old school type of managers, now few and far between. If only his players were a tad fitter, he could have left a cup hero, thought they tired badly, as Cumnock no great shakes, as you witnessed. Good luck to the man , and hope his health improves.
glensmad
We are delighted to announce that Joe Pryce has been appointed as the new First Team Manager of Rutherglen Glencairn Football Club with immediate effect. Joe, a former Glencairn player, has been in The Glens' dugout for the past 13 years alongside previous manager Willie Harvey. Joe was initially first team coach, before stepping up to be Assistant Manager in August 2015. Joe has been trained in coaching to UEFA 'B' licence level, and has a wealth of knowledge of the game at this level as well as a long connection and a deep affection for the club. We are also pleased to confirm that Billy Ogilvie will step up to the role of Assistant Manager. Billy joined the club last summer as first team coach, and has vast experience in management and coaching at various levels in the Scottish football pyramid. Billy holds a UEFA 'A' coaching licence, which will greatly assist with the club's ongoing compliance to Scottish FA Membership criteria. We are also pleased to confirm that Stevie Hutchison will remain at the club as Goalkeeping Coach. Stevie joined the club in 2017 and has been a constant support in the background to the management of the club both on and off the park. We look forward to watching the new management team as they get to work in shaping the playing squad for season 2023-24, and more information on that will follow as soon as possible.

I've seen hundreds of players leave over the years, we miss them but another comes along. Good luck to Scott, he left on good terms. Tam Miller said he was retiring. But you never know, he does live out that way. Again, good luck to Tam if he changes his mind and decides he wants to play on.
