Clockwork
Disappointing after the first legs, but still 2 teams left in Europe.Credit to Linfield coming through that, honestly thought they might come unstuck over 2 legs against TNS. A different prospect all together next week I guess in FK Bodo/Glimt, comfortable winners over Celtic in both games; in last season’s ECL. First leg at Windsor next Tuesday 19th @19:30.
hatchetman
Last night summed up everything I love and hate about sport. A nasty bunch of big girls blouses fannying around from kick off, when the game was there for the taking. And then to knock it up them right at the death. Brilliant. (Whisper it. Well played Linfield)
Clockwork
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62155093 Norn Iron bow out of the Women’s Euro 2022 tournament. A spirited effort but going down to a strong English side. Some impressive finishing from the ‘Lionesses’ , racing into a 4-0 lead. Kelsie Burrows with an unfortunate own goal, diverting a low cross over the stranded Jackie Burns completing a 5-0 scoreline for the home side in Southampton. Still a number of positives to take out of their tournament performances however; for a side that only went full time together at the start of this year.

Clockwork
Crues with it all to do after a 2-0 defeat in the first leg. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62259006May well rue the couple of decent chances they created late on, to at least take something back to the Shore Road next week (especially with a man advantage for almost 2/3rds of the game. Tough ask indeed.
