hatchetman
Decent game at Seaview last night, but can't help feeling it's two points dropped. Maybe fourth for us this season.
Clockwork
In the Lough 41 Championship yesterday wins for the top three Loughgall, Annagh United and Dundela. Ballyclare Comrades move up to fourth spot after a see-saw five goal thriller at Dixon Park. Dergview and Institute remain winless after five games and occupy the bottom two places at the foot of the table. Dundela at home to Loughgall probably the pick of next weekend’s fixtures. PossilYM
Loads of football groundhoppers now on YouTube. Footie Adventures being the best known regarding every level of Scottish football. Tbf, the chap also paid a visit to Northern Ireland grounds during the summer. Wasn't sure if there was a market for this regarding Northern Irish football. Until I came across a local on YouTube going by the name of Peaky Bannsiders. The Bann being the river that runs through Coleraine. This N.I. Youtuber is the cat's whiskers regarding Northern Irish/Irish football grounds all reported in a wild Ian Paisley style accent. Yer man is a Coleraine season ticket holder and when and if there ain't a football match he'll quite happily do a groundhoppers report on a GAA Gaelic football ground. Fascinating watch for the thousands of stadium geeks out there from a country so close but which many of us no so little about.
Jacksgranda
Ballymena get past Ards after extra time in the League Cup. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62908088 Two league matches on Friday: Crusaders v Linfield - could be tasty - and Newry City v Dungannon Swifts - the sort of match Swifts need to be winning.
Jacksgranda
Crues and Blues 0-0 at half time. I didn't realise the time, so only caught the last 15 minutes, Linfield had the better of the exchanges What was the opening 30 minutes like?
hatchetman
Cracking second half tonight. Have to say I didn't see us coming back from one down. Happy to be proved wrong (again). We really had them on the ropes for long periods. Two scrappy goals but a real battling performance after Tuesday nights exit. Hope Josh is OK.

Very enjoyable match. Didn’t see the game last night, (in Wigan at the Rugby League - SL Semi Final), watched the highlights this morning though. Only half a dozen games in but the Premiership is already shaping up to be a fascinating contest this year. Hopefully Carrick can continue a decent wee run of form up at the Ballymena Showgrounds this afternoon.

Clockwork
Plenty of goals in the Championship yesterday. Leaders Loughgall put 4 past Welders at Lakeview, whilst new boys Newington had their most impressive return yet with a 5-2 win over Ballyclare at Solutude. Ballinamallard also hit four with a late burst to push past Ards at Ferney Park. Institute had a comfortable 3-0 over Dergview at Darragh Park. Rounding things up Warrenpoint continued their recent run of form with a 2-1 win away at Knockbreda. As the table takes shape. Loughgall sit top with 16 points from 6 games. Annagh United are second on 13 points having played a game less. Dergview rooted to the bottom still winless with just a single point from their first six games.
