Watched the Swifts v Newry last night on https://elevensports.com/en/#mycujoo

This is a legal streaming site, which I never knew screens all NINL games.  Maybe not for UK viewers.

Swifts should had scored in the first minute, but somehow blazed it over the bar with a gapping goal from 8 yards.  Then City took control and were the better team, but no end product. The Swifts always looked like they would score on the counter with the left winger Campbell? causing havoc every time he got the ball.  Swift scored a nice worked goal to take the lead. However, coming from the right side, nice finish anyway.

Second half City hit the bar, but again, nothing on target for the keeper to be troubled at any time.

Great goal for the Swifts second, free kick to the goalies top right postage stamp, Brazil would have been proud of.

Swift saw the game out with no problems.

Overall, not the best game of football, and both teams obviously lacking in confidence. Good win for the Swifts, let's hope they can build on this terrible season so far.

Another team ticked off my database of watching a live game (from every league in world) Dungannon Swifts (been 2 years looking for a stream).

Today will be Druk United from Bhutan.

Very comfortable win on a Baltic day. Not the most exciting game. Crues hanging in there while Larne  stumble. Some tough games in January. Three against top teams, which won't matter if we can't beat teams lower in the league than us. As things stand I shall miss all these games. A very tight competition. Boiling nicely.

Irish cup weekend. Watched the first half of Dundela v Cliftonville, but it was all over by half time, the Reds eventually winning 5-0.

Welders win at Newry, and Glenavon snatch it at Ballinamallard, other games went as expected.

I trust the 2 Glentoran fans in Wilma's Plaice on Saturday thought their big city banter was hilarious, as it didn't go down well with the locals, who gave as good as they got.

This wasn't meant to be one of the tough ones.

Larne win at the Oval, 1-0, (despite the listed score) to close the gap on Cliftonville.

Coleraine come back from a goal down to beat Portadown 4-1.

Ballymena beat Dungannon 2-0 at the Warden Road Showgrounds.

Top Cliftonville  P 23 Pts 49, second Larne  P 22  Pts 48, third Linfield  P 23 Pts 46, fourth Crusaders  P 23  Pts 45, fifth Coleraine  P 23  Pts 43, sixth a rapidly fading Glentoran  P 20 Pts 35

Quite a race for the title, and the play off spot is being contested. Looks like Portadown have had their chips, though.

Coleraine come back from 2 down to draw at Solitude.

Linfield walk over Ballymena, 3-0.

Larne and Crusaders draw 0-0 at Inver Park.

Glentoran win at Newry.

Newry loss and Dungannon's win over Glenavon takes them to within a point of Newry

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64359846

Cliftonville are top a point ahead of Linfield who are second on goal difference from Larne, who have a game in hand over the top two. Crusaders are 3 point behind Larne, with Coleraine 2 points behind the Crues.

As noted, Dungannon are closing in on Newry, although they have played a game more. and may avoid the play off spot. Portadown stranded in bottom, with only 5 points, 12 behind the Swifts.

Crusaders beat the Blues - again - leaving Linfield 4 points behind leaders Cliftonville, who won 3-1 at Mourneview, with Larne, 2-0 winners over Portadown, in second, a point behind the Reds with a game in hand. Crusaders are fourth behind Linfield on goal difference, then Coleraine 2 points further back, after their 10 men beat Carrick at the Showgrounds. 6 point gap to Glentoran who have made a good start under Rodney McAree (it won't last), and the Glens have 3 games in hand over most of those above them.

0-0 between Ballymena and Newry, which means City have a 2 point advantage over the Swifts.

Cracking win for the Crues. Makes Carrick and Glenavon even harder to take. (By the way Jacks, I had the pleasure of being at Recreation Park on Monday. If I suffered from hangovers I'd have had one on Tuesday.)

Continue with that sort of chat and you'll be on the ignore list, young man...
