Skyline Drifter
Did Andy Thompson play under Connelly in his second spell? No, a much later signing by Ian McCall. Did Nesovic play for Connolly? I remember a bring back Nesy banner at a game No. Nesovic was gone before Connolly arrived.
Skyline Drifter
Alex Williams. No. Iain Scott brought him in on loan.

19QOS19
Double checked this as I couldn't recall English scoring in the game. You are right that Juan Ramon Escalas gave Thistle an 8th minute lead. However it was David McNiven who equalised on 65 minutes. The Payne goal came even later than I thought it had being timed at 95 minutes and he had come on as a sub for the injured David Craig on 94 minutes! I remember going similarly ape. EDITED to add: Tommy English DID score a direct free kick in a 2-1 win at Raith the following week though which is probably what caused the confusion. Was No 61 on the JC list. So it was! I can recall English in that game for some reason, did he set-up a goal perhaps? Don't know why he is so prominent in my memory of the game

Homer Thompson
Tony Nelson. Looked decent pre-season, at least I thought so, was then sent off, I think in his first appearance never to be seen again

Skyline Drifter
Des McKeown, is a stick on though No 28 Tony Nelson. Looked decent pre-season, at least I thought so, was then sent off, I think in his first appearance never to be seen again No 8, though Nelson did go on to make a further 8 appearances for us after being sent off on his debut. He departed quickly but we saw him more than once! Paul McMullan, Brian McLaughlin, Steven Leslie? No 86 and No 69. Leslie was before Connolly though. Well I'm the only one playing at the moment so I'll do as I please! Mark Angel - No 33 Sandy Hodge - No 3 The wonderful John O'Neill - No 30 but already named, Derek Allan - No 49 Brian McColligan - No 70.
