The quality is probably better, but the numbers are the same. If Todd goes, we will be one down on the numbers before the window, unless we get somebody else in. True. The squad is stronger and some of the players we have can play in a number of positions, which is a great asset to the squad if there's any injuries or suspensions.
Broony88
Interesting to see what the manager thinks his best 11 is if everyone is fit. Mines would be Martin Mercer Maguire Doyle Marshall Stirling Low Wilson (unknown quantity but he won't be here to sit on the bench) Todd Dykes Dobbie When you think we could potentially have a bench of Leighfield, Brownlie, Fordyce, Jacobs, Murray, Aird and McGrath if he signs is quite promising.
Dumfries Boy(new acc)
Got a notification of a Queens YouTube video titled "McGrath scores", so I guess he's signing and that was put up accidently as it's now deleted.

Looking at wiki I see he scored 47 in 84 appearances in his first spell between 2007 and 2009. He played game 85 of his second spell last night and has scored 56 goals. He can’t be too far away from third place now. Would expect the shirt sponsors BFL are felling rather pleased with all the publicity he's getting!

If everyone is fit and whatever the starting 11 is, the bench will be a hell of a lot better than it has been.

gogs
No easy convinving somebody to sign and sit on the bench tho.. Plenty of young lads out there who I'm quite sure would be happy to get the last 20 mins or so that way we could bring dobbie or dykes off earyer save the legs a bit.

19QOS19
It’s been an excellent transfer window Yeah fair play to all involved. Naysmith said early on we'd have to wait and on paper he's done a decent job. I know people say we need a striker but it'd be extremely difficult to loan a striker who is only going to get 10/15 minutes here and there as the Dykes/Dobbie partnership would take some breaking. Good to have a wee bit of depth now and it's going to be good seeing a bench with potential. When was the last time we could say that? Hopefully Todd makes a quick recovery and the new boys hit the ground running and 4th may not be unthinkable. Well done to all involved.
