PastyMan
Beith Juniors confirm what most folks have suspected. They aren't in a position to get licensed at the moment so will be ineligible to meet the winners or the EoS or SoS in a play off should they win the WoS. Currently they are 6 points clear with a game in hand and 5 games remaining

Just needs that rubber stampie thingy they do to get a licence. But as stated Vale are now in prime position. Creetown 49pts 3 to play Abbey Vale 46pts 4 to play and a +7 goal diff. Creetown don't score a lot built on a strong defensive unit. Creetown last game 6th May. Vale last game 8th May. Hope that helps.

At the minute I think i'd prefer to be Creetown in actually having the points advantage. Abbey Vale look to be going Sat-Mon-Wed-Sat-Wed-Sat-Mon-Sat bold and underlined ones being their league games. Looks like quite a messy run in.

bobbydazzler
cant see anything other than a Swifts win tonight, Mansouri on loan from East Fife looks a cracking player. HoB could have played 180 minutes v Crossgates last Wednesday and still wouldnt have broke them down

HoB could have played 180 minutes v Crossgates last Wednesday and still wouldnt have broke them down Went along to the game and it was entertaining, enjoyed it. HoB went ahead early on with a lovely finish, they then should really have extended there lead but some really poor finishing meant the Swifts always had a chance. There equaliser came about midway through the second half and it was a cracking lob, it was probably the first time they'd threatened all game but it was a lovely finish, they were on top after that and scored an absolute beauty to go ahead, still loads from the right a looping shot going right in the top bins, lovely. Game certainly wasn't over though! HoB chucked everyone forward but after getting caught on the counter they gave away a silly pen, the keeper saved and a minute later a Swifts player was sent off for calling the linesman a c**t. More men forward for Haws who lost a goal to a quite fantastic solo effort. Overall the scoreline was really harsh on HoB, the game should've been out of sight but if you don't take your chances you'll pay the price.

Think game changed when HoB midfielder went off injured in first half and from there Swifts grew into the game. Credit to Swifts management wasnt working first half, made a few changes at half time and looked much the better team in the second. All 4 of the goals of decent quality, Swifts 2nd the stand out for sure

Creetown look a tired side beaten 3-0 in a cup game by WOS Threave Rovers last night. Vale have Newton Stewart at home tonight in league. As they say it's Vale's to lose now.
