Callum Davidson's Bus vs Yogi Hughes High Flying Dons

Recommended Posts

Should have got something from that in the end, we had our chances.

No complaints after Considine got himself sent off in the first minute, we worked away at keeping it tight then had a go in the last 10-15 minutes.  Probably all we could really hope for after the start to the game.

Really disappointing overall though, as that is a fairly shite Aberdeen side that surely we’d have got something from with 11 men.

The bottom of the table is casting a long shadow over us right now, we need to find a win or two.

Really poor performance, but a good sign that we managed to drag out the win. We've played far better and lost in recent years. It's always a pain having to tolerate playing St. Johnstone, so nice to get the win.

3 points but the game was a poor advert for scottish football.

We got lucky we were shite , St Johnstone probably deserved a point.

But it's a win  so massive improvement  ,under Goodwin we would have lost to 10 men .

Work in progress .

Unlucky ST Johnstone.

Hopefully Robson can give them a kick up the backside during the week but the players can console themselves with three points in the bag and three points back on Scotland's untouchable third force (well third force according to a certain misguided Hearts poster)

An away win and clean sheet when we’ve been murder is fuckin tremendous tbh. 100% would’ve lost that earlier in the season.

I'm not so sure we can dress it up like that, we won 0-1 there earlier in season against eleven men. We've got a decent record at McDermid recently.

Which Hearts poster posted a couple of months ago about Hearts being massively ahead as the 3rd best team in the league?

There isn't a third best team in the league. Look at the table. It's more of a 'slightly less pish than the rest'. What an accolade that is

well no, no one can be sure.

comment was about the performance, not the fact it was st Johnstone.

I agree

But Hearts fans "third force" shite based on a single 3rd place finish in a decade, alongside some Jambo posters on here's insistence that they were streets ahead of everyone from 4th down makes this funny.

They may still get third but the shock they have that Hearts arent actually very good always amuses.

Most importantly Andy Considine had his number 1 birthday wish today, making sure Aberdeen got a win!

We really just can't finish. How many half hit scaffs had we today? Unlucky in the last minute and looked to me the ref who was poor should have given a penalty for the tug on May.

Seemed the ref had leanings towards Aberdeen.
