Correct.
The alternative being, support a non-Glasgow club and wear that enteral chip on your shoulder like a huffy wee teenager.

^^^ actually thinks the 'winning' is some sort of achievement ^^^

Steven Gerrard, Walter Smith, Neil Lennon.

Stick them in England with middling budgets and their performances are distinctly middling, and in time, they lose their jobs.  It's even happened with Rodgers after some success for a while.

Think that's a bit harsh. Smith did ok at Everton. And Rodgers won an FA cup at Leicester.

I think ok equates to "middling".

Meanwhile, winning the FA Cup represents "some success".

Struggling, therefore, to find the harshness.

He was arguably poor down south with Everton. Sure there were financial constraints but he still made some significant purchases. Moyes came in and replaced him and got Everton much higher up the league.

“The football under Walter Smith was never stellar but it had become unspeakably bad; results were simply atrocious; the performance, motivation, organisation and enthusiasm of the players – including those over-the-hill acquisitions that smacked of desperation – perhaps the worst indictment of a four-season fiasco that ultimately took Everton precisely nowhere.”

Could say the same for you and your attempts to devalue any sense of achievement felt by Celtic fans.

But you haven't 'achieved' anything. All you've done is watch a group of professional footballers achieve something. They can have a sense of achievement but fans, who merely spectate, can't.

What a lot of utter shite and tedious pedantry. The players wouldn’t achieve anything if the fans weren’t paying for them to be there in the first place. As a wise man once said football without fans is nothing.

Its the greatest fans in the world being behind them that spurs them on to glory.

I think that's 53 wins in 58 games for the Old Firm v The Rest this season.

Tells you all you need to know about what an achievement this is.

I agree, it’s way beyond expectation and exceptional consistency

Wait do Celtic fans actually think them winning things is a 'big deal'? :D Supporting Celtic is basically just putting being a football fan on easy mode.

Why do you care? We don’t seek to devalue your experience yet you seem to want to devalue ours? Is the football fan experience at your club leaving you feeling a little inadequate?

No seriously though? I'm sure we had the whole 'always winning is boring' conversation before but surely to f**k it is :D Do you even celebrate when you lift the league trophy anymore? Or does everyone kind of just shuffle about like "oh yay, another one", we'll see this again in 12 months anyway.

If Livi won the league I genuinely think I'd be pished for about 3 weeks. 1 Livi title is far more exciting to anyone in world football than the next 50 Celtic titles could ever be.
