I just remembered Monkey Shines, an Eighties George Romero film about a man and his murdermonkey. Well worth seeing if you can find a copy. There's a scene where our paralysed hero is having an argument with his carer (played by Romero's then-wife Christine Forrest), and she suddenly yells the deathless line, "YOU KILLED MY BOGIE!"
