The Virgin boy having another go at Glasgow's new force. Take a wee break from being P and B's top tosser; it's the close season. Still, keeps him off the streets of Greenock, stealing sweets from weans and kicking pensioners.

We were 28 points behind champions Cove last year and 21 points behind Airdrie, whom we beat in the playoffs. Hats off to the mastermind Coyle.

He improved the performance of half the players he'd inherited to the point of getting us within one game of the Premier, with the fallback of a place in the playoffs.

Something for the mighty Ton to aspire to next year.

Yep, it truly was a heroic effort to take plucky upstarts off the street like Simon Murray, throw huge sums of money at new signings and English League loanees, only to spectacularly bottle crash the title and promotion by losing seven of the last nine games of the season.

Morton fans think Imrie is the greatest manager ever because he led them to a fifth placed finish in a 10 team division that included Queens Park, Cove, Abroath, Hamilton and Ayr Utd.

All but one of which likely started the season with a comfortably larger playing budget than Morton. So a testament to Imrie's excellent management then.

Swing and a miss chump.

How much, exactly?, (genuinely desperate to know)

'likely' and 'comfortably' all seem a little 'wooly' don'tchathink?

You seem a little too obsessed with OC,  it's really not good for you, think of your blood pressure fella, we don't want you giving yourself a turn.  Do yourself a favour, take his (likely lamintaed) piccy out your wallet, take his poster off your ceiling and go and have a nice cup of tea.

If you prefer, we can look at the squads assembled at the start of last season and see which one had one named substitute. Who was the nephew of a club sponsor who finished the season having not made the grade at Troon in the 6th tier.

Or we can stop shrieking for numbers! when it is patently obvious what the overall player budget brackets are in this league just as it is obvious in the top flight of Scottish football, the English leagues or indeed for the Walter Mitty outfits in the non-league game.

Yawn - QP fans have tried this 'obsession' chat for 3 months now.

Perhaps if you spent more time reflecting on the reality of your situation instead of crying and wildly deflecting about how other fans perceive you, your team might not have complacently slumped to 7 defeats in 9. A monumental bottle crash that saw your big mate Coyle slither out the door as a consequence.

Unlucky.

Alrighty, but for the want of repeating myself, feel free to supply some, (ideally not picked out of thin air).

Seriously, I'm worried about you, you seem delusional and I wouldn't want you harming yourself or anyone else.  Newsflash, the vast majority of people (evidently not you) have enthusiasms outside of Scottish football, so, 'reflection', really??

Maybe take the tin-foil hat off, get out of that box bedroom of yours and go experience life fella - it's passing you by so it is.

Bless - I see 'Pop Psychology for Dummies' is getting yet another run out.

But you keep insisting that your 'enthusiasms outside Scottish football' shield you from the bitter reality that your season crumbled into nothing before your eyes.

Worth also adding that Morton finished comfortably above 3 of those, with a further one failing to record a single win against us, with said lower budget.

Considering where we were at the start of the season, yes. Yes it is.

Edit: Compound this with the fact we finished 6pts off the eventual winners, it was.

I’d be due to cut my wrists if Kilmarnock had a season where we finished 5th in the second tier*.
