That said, when it was introduced, getting to an away tie was hard and it was much more difficult to get a result away from home

I thought Miller should have gone to press Digne and try to stop the cross himself while leaving the runner to Boyle for the goal, rather than backing off to the runner and leave Boyle to press the ball.

Maybe the full backs tucking right in has been an instruction from Johnson rather than Miller making that decision on the spot, but as soon as you allow space for the cross you're leaving yourself open to that. It's a brilliant delivery and header which no one can do anything about from the moment it leaves Digne's foot, your only hope is denying the space for the cross in the first place.
