LongTimeLurker
Elsewhere: Couple of interesting results. Maybe there's still a very slim chance that preparations for bronze level licensing might be worthwhile this season? Nicholas Rage
Good performance in the end today after a bit of a shambles at the start. Musa doing what he tends to do from time to time and I reckon he was lucky to stay on the park in truth. Second goal was another few errors in a row and suddenly we were two down. From there though the boys were l excellent. Louis Kennedy probably had his best game in a BU shirt, fighting for every ball and delivering quality into the box. Fin Malcolm who's had a trying time to say the least with two good finishes to take the lead. Then enter the villain, Matty Flynn. What a fucking moron to get sent off for two dissent bookings one after the other. That said, not as thick as his pal who got sent off for dissent two minutes later. Topped off by an absolute thunderbolt at the end from Porteous. Despite not really delivering whats been expected from him so far, you can't argue with his goals, great production from a left winger. All in all an excellent day out, would hate to have been sitting home with nothing to watch on such a glorious winters day.
Deanburn Dave
Agree with Nicholas Rage that Musa was lucky to stay on the park. If Musa makes an effort to play the ball and fouls the player in the process then its a penalty and a yellow. But Musa fecked up and decided to haul the player back to stop the clear GSO......zero attempt by Musa to play the ball. That's a straight red. Musa was a very lucky boy.
Nicholas Rage
To give Musa a smidge of credit, that was right in front of me at that point and he did seem to get the ball back fairly clearly - but if you're giving the foul...

Herdy and posse were enjoying the warm delights of the pie stall at half time. Second half may have given them food for thought.

seenitall
Well done guys , excellent turn around .. We do make it hard for ourselves on a regular basis though . Is McLean away ? We seem to think a striker is required but the league doesn’t lie and only 6 teams have conceded more than us , food for thought .
Deanburn Dave
"is McLean away ?"........ I heard that the BU's had made him a good offer at the start but the player thinks he is League One level and is trying his best to get signed up elsewhere. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens.
Nicholas Rage
If he's League 1 level then I'll look forward to trips to Angus with BU in a couple of years.
Deanburn Dave
The BU defence give away too many sloppy goals and too many breakaway goals. It's down to the team rather than the players I reckon. The 4-2-3-1 looks good on paper but the "3" element need to work a lot harder defensively. With Grant, Stenhouse and Porteous pushed up the park when we lose possession we are really vulnerable.

Porteous although top scorer, is difficult to assess regards where he should play to get the best out of him as I think he doesn’t quite do enough.
