I watched your game against Alloa though on Alba a couple of weeks ago and Maclver is some player. With Longridge able to play Centre half and Fergus Owens also more than capable I don't thinks it's as big a necessity as others, particularly as Dylan would be on big wages, for us. Just 1 or 2 attackers now and we're in with a good chance. I'd say his best performances last season were when he was just asked to defend the box and hopefully we won't be in that position much this season. He also wasn't too good on the ball which doesn't improve on a deficiency in the squad. However, as preciously stated, we needed more options there as we were light and now we have 3 top players in that position. Yeah O'Brien has been decent but I think he's the one you have to drop sadly McGowan obviously starts and Kilday is too good imo. Will be interesting to see if we play a back four or a back five and this pushes young Fergus Owens even further down the list. Dylan had a couple of shakey moments after the cup final and probably wasn't as good but he was still probably one of our best players however that wasn't exactly a highbar last season. I'm happy to have him back and I personally think it's the best signing we've made all summer he's a great leader and exactly what you need to win a title imo.
