If Carswell and Forbes are indeed both away as has been fairly loudly rumoured and we don’t bring anyone in, we might as well chuck it now.

As much as they’re done, they’re still two bodies that have *some* use. We certainly wouldn’t be able to replace them with players currently on the scrap heap.

Could be worse 

Could have spent £10m+ on 4 strikers like rangers and you couldnt make one decent one out of the four of them

There is always a risk signing players for money or not but have to say our track record has been abysmal since promotion season - which is due to the inability of DL and JD to spot a player
