rhubarb1974
God knows how they are refusing to make games the Saturday for semis. The amount of money teams make on Saturday is more than they'll make on Sunday/friday. Shambles if the semis aren't the Saturday. The potential additional gate money is minimal compared to lose in hospitality.

As someone else has already said the Arthurlie game is the Saturday, which is disappointing from a personal level as I will miss it due to me going to the Killie game.

You aren't going to get a game that suits everyone. our kick off are Saturdays 2pm that is how it should be in the semi finals. I would imagine hospitality will be sold out already for the Saturday change to Sunday or Friday and it limits the numbers

Look at their tweet. saying weekend of Friday the 12th, that to me suggest they are considering Friday Saturday or Sunday
FairWeatherFan
Talbot put up a graphic for the Saturday earlier. Arthurlie tweeted Saturday then quickly posted a follow up saying maybe not. I dont know if there's been some confusion. As certainly for one-off semis they tried to keep off the traditional Saturday to maximise casuals.

I thought the final was already set as the Sunday? Think a lot of complaints about the game being on a Friday last year.

FairWeatherFan
I see Twitter has discovered the 60% to SJFA for the semi-finals.
PB1234
So basically the semi finalists and finalist teams and supporters are funding the guarantee for teams who have been put out the competition instead of benefiting there own teams surely the SJFA should be the 1s covering any guarantees that were promised to get teams to enter there competition not the fans of the teams lucky enough to reach this stage of the competition
