bluetoonscotty
It’s been a long time since I’ve come away from a game feeling this positive about a performance. I thought we were immense, so much fight and quality about us. Could’ve picked four or five of them for man of the match. O’Keefe with two well taken goals, second a peach. Shanks did what Shanks does, running non-stop and set up the first goal nicely. Jack Brown seems to be getting his form back after a rough season. Goldie was solid again and looks like he’ll be a great signing. McCarthy played some beautiful long balls into the corner where he usually keeps it simple. A superb start against a side who have been tipped as title challengers. Saw flashes of that but on the whole, didn’t cause us too many problems. Really liked the look of Jack Healy, reckon he’ll have a very good season for you. Trying not to get carried away but if we can keep these performance and this good feeling going, there’s no reason we can’t push for the playoffs or maybe even further. Was just glad to see everyone smiling on the bus home for a change.
Life on Marrs?
Well glad you thought Peterhead were imense, maybe we're not as bad as we looked after all! Only positives I can find are, we're only a point behind fellow contenders Dumbarton, Forfar & Stenny after that debacle & might be the wake up call we need. Good luck to the podcast picking a 3,2,1 from that guys!
Beachcomber
Think we missed Shepherd yesterday and i'm not a fan of Brogan out wide, get him in the middle beside McManus or Millar.
Beachcomber
Looking at the highlights it's really poor play from our full backs for first two goals. Both pushing forward and played balls into the middle of the park to the opposition allowing them to break and ultimately score. Oh and fair play to the referee, looked like a foul but it seems like Newton who handled and the ref played a good advantage.
