Dunfermline Athletic -vs- Dundee United (Do we really have to edition)

Another tactical masterclass from Fraudwin. Nothing like fucking about with a 4-0 winning team. The boy Grieve might well be the worst player I've ever seen. Marginally worse than Tilson. No idea who the heavy set boy on our bench is but I'd give him 45 minutes and see what he can do.

Saw on a Twitter thread midweek about the York City owners refunding fans after a 6-1 humiliation at Altrincham that almost a decade of awfulness after his spell there, Macnamara is still regarded as the benchmark for disastrous managers at the club. I wonder if he's liked anywhere.

Tommy Wright likes having him on his mantelpiece.

It’s telling that United’s two worst performers tonight, Tillson and Grieve, are on loan from Premiership clubs.

'Gauldie'

One of the best things about watching it on Paramount plus here in the US, is they cut off all the pre game and half time pish.  Tremendous stuff

Football nicknames need to evolve past adding a 'zo' or 'y' to the end of a surname.

Kerrzo and Gauldy two big culprits.

Not sure how watt got booked when he was fouled!

I don't either but the way he was pointing at Hamilton to try and get him a second yellow justifies it IMO

Also, Hamilton got an elbow and then a head into his own face - where he'd been playing with a broken cheekbone until very recently - and while it was accidental and he didn't complain about it, Michael Stewart went on and on about players rolling about. The man thinks he's insightful but he's just a dribbling simpleton.

There’s a bit in Pat Nevin’s [first] book which rips into the English for their shite nicknames which just have a y/ie tagged on to the end.

‘Banzo’ is another offender
