Queen’s Park v Raith Rovers

Recommended Posts

A draw isn't terrible.... but it means that if United beat Caley next week we can't overtake them even with a win at Tannadice.

A win today means it doesn't matter what they do next week, it's in our own hands to be top at 5pm on 30th March which would be big psychologically as we would have a game in hand as well.

We've conceded 2 goals against Dunfermline in 6 games this season.

How are you boys doing?

Probably edged it at the end but Queens Park are a far better team than the one earlier in the season.

Could well be a very valuable point and still very much in our own hands.

Tremendous save from ferrie from stantons overhead kick after making another good save moments before. Ball just wouldn't break in the box for us at times and other times the wrong pass was played. I think that's still a good point though because queen's are a good side. Taking easton off instead of connolly was confusing at the time and for connolly to then need subbed off a few minutes later because he's fucked proved that. Kev only really had one save to make today and as always he pushed it wide even though he's falling in to the middle of the goal, a good save. Matthews at rb was very good considering he's played there maybe twice before. Needed to push stanton on earlier than we did Imo but it does look like it's a move Murray wants to use late on at the moment.

Draws probably a fair result overall but again, ferrie with a couple of excellent saves stops us going top today.

A decent point away from home against a very much improved team and whilst it's maybe a slightly disappointing final score, in the end, if you're not going to win then make sure that you aren't beaten.
