A Diamond For Me Posted April 6 Share Posted April 6 If there was any car crash pertaining to this game, it was Morton letting big Toddy in like that right at the start. Absolutely played them off the park in the first half, and while the subs disrupted the game they didn't really change it meaningfully. Their goal made things a little nervy in the stand, but more because of the collapses we've seen from good positions in the last two or three years (thought not this year that I can mind). Even when they were obviously going for it nearer the end, I don't think our keeper had more to do than deal with crosses, there were free kicks and corners, but all pretty much dealt with comfortably enough. It's not as though they were hitting the woodwork or having efforts cleared off the line. Some of our passing play was just magnificent, a highlight being the play between McMaster and Hancock just before the corner for our third goal.
