Totally!!! My fav self titled tbh. But all good.The posthumous album ''From a Basement on the Hill' I felt was over produced I felt. Obviously not his fault...

Either/Or was my favourite album of 1997. Did like XO and Figure 8 but not on a patch on either/or. I still go back and listen to Either/Or now and again.

It's his solo accoustic gigs, just Elliott Smith and his guitar that are the best of everything for me. Even with his bands, however if I could turn back time, a solo small accoustic gig is the one I would choose.

Not in the best of shape here (drugs, rehab, but still...)

Elliott is clearly on form at this gig. Definitely one of his best performances live on youtube...
