If Hibs are going to go down the “let’s take someone from Bournemouth” route then Carl Fletcher? Managed some of the youth teams at Bournemouth, currently their loans manager and was a team mate of Malky Mackay at West Ham and Watford.

The guy from Dream Team???

With the appointment of MacKay it looks like it's a stick on it'll be Robinson in at Head Coach.

Spoiler

Tommy, not Stephen.

This really must be one of the best gigs in football. Being called and paid as a manager when really you're just a glorified liaison officer, no real metric to analyse your performance, get paid to watch random games in different parts of the country on full expenses and have no one watching over you.

Just when Hibs' board needed some good news about the place.

Apparently, they're charging Hanlon and Stevenson's families for their tables in hospitality tonight. Appreciation for your legends...?

And the Mackay stooshie bringing all sorts of Hibs' dross to the public eye.

Good lord.

GOOD LORD.

14 pages in and no one has done the Mark McGhee joke.

Not a peep.

Have we finally reached the post-McGhee era?

He retired after us.

It's the reason John Hughes is so popular.

Mark Fotheringham is waiting in lieu of Yogi ever getting a gig again.

McInnes will be a horrendous option if they continue with the DOF model.

Would definitely get at least three very good years if he gets to run things his way.

McInnes would/could not work under a DOF. If he’s the figurehead and potential fall guy, he wants to be the one calling the shots.

Hope they just leave him alone as he’s doing quite alright where he is.

Derek will always have a shelf life wherever he goes.

Not a big problem if the club have some form of plan in place though.

Martindale possibly leaving Livi? He's shown he is happy to be a head coach, in fact I think he prefers that going by some of his previous comments. He might not be a high profile candidate, but he could be extremely cheap and knows this league well, while over achieving with a limited budget.

There’s no chance he’d even consider it for a number of reasons, the structure at the club is only one of them.

It’s going to be Sir David Gray and I’ve come to terms with it. We’ve tried everything else and failed so why not the cup winning captain.

The Rubicon has already been crossed with Malky!

I get you are just making a joke, but I'd also say there is a huge difference between the way the two of them have handled the "errors of their ways".

Is he not the head coach, chief scout, sporting director and director of football at Livi though? 🤣

When Holt was the manager, Martindale seemed happy to be "in the shadows" as it were. Whether that was because he was happier in that role or whether it's his choice not to be front and centre due to his past, I honestly couldn't say.
