GordonS Posted May 17 Share Posted May 17 FIFA have awarded the 2027 World Cup to Brazil, choosing them over a joint Belgium-Netherlands-NE Germany bid. Brazil won the vote 119 to 78 with 10 abstentions. Personally disappointing as I'd have gone if it were in Europe and we qualified, but good there will finally be a women's World Cup held in Latin or South America. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's pretty weird tbh. The men's World Cup gets awarded further in advance because it usually requires some serious infrastructure work, but it feels wrong to finish a World Cup and not know where the next one will be.
