Craig fae the Vale
Should be another very competitive division this upcoming season. Looking forward to a first trip to Thorn Athletic in particular. Hoping we'll be challenging for promotion, think we've got a team capable of it, but know it will be a tough slog that will go right to the wire.

Bit similar to Belshill with a bit more space & elevation.

Their brand of football is suited to Astro and there’s only 4 astros in this division. They are a young team and teams play more direct in this league. Out of the 3 coming up Glenvale stand the best chance of progressing as they are strengthening their team all the time. An Absolute Imposter
Pre-Season Friendly. Full Time Result Carlisle City 1 Threave Rovers 3 ️ City are in Div 1 of Northern League which sits at Level 9 in the English setup. Five levels below League 2. A number of changes at Threave for this season; new management team and a good few personnel changes. Be interesting following them this season, after missing out on promotion last season. Feeling I get is, they now feel consolidated in the WOSFL. First season in Div 4, expected to get up easily. Not as straight forward as expected. Last season in Div 3, there was a bit of nervousness around the club at times, which showed in some of the results and performances. No predictions or statements from the club on this season, but like all clubs want to progress as far as they can. How far up in the WOSFL will be seen over coming seasons. A well run club, with great facilities onfield and off.

Craig fae the Vale
Glenvale 1-4 Vale of Leven (at Maryhill). About as good a start to the league campaign as we could have hoped for. Now sitting waiting because in classic Vale away day style, the bus won't start
