Just going on what I've heard sporadically that this club and that club saying that the SRCC and WOSFL LC should be optional participation. I wasn't aware West cup had priority also. Strange way to run a league. Cheers. Tues/Wed games involving WoSFL teams in the last 3 completed seasons. As Tues/Wed is when you typically put something in with planning. Not say a Monday May 16th (Pollok v. Clydebank WoS Qtr) two days after a league game as there's a scramble to just end the season. 2021/22 SJC: 1 SCC: 4 WoS: 4 Strath: 2 (Only two prelims early August) 2022/23 SJC: 0 SCC: 6 WoS: 2 Strath: 0 2023/24 SJC: 2 SCC: 2 WoS: 1 Strath: 0

I think the point is that promotes the the games that are happening that weekend. Plus teams know what they are playing for to create an extra interest. Leave it a week it gets lost in the shuffle.

FairWeatherFan
It was mentioned elsewhere but guests wise Bo'ness Utd & Camelon are playing league games on Saturday October 5th and their Junior Cup games on Sunday October 6th. There had been alternatives arranged but those were cancelled and that seems the best they could do.

No thanks You go on about the Scottish Junior cup and ridicule it and I remember when you were 1 nil down to Talbot at rugby Park and Charlie Hobbs ran down the right wing and crossed it plum onto Chris Mackies head and what a goal ( that's the quality that ex beith players provide ) Behind them goals your fans went mental as I sat neutral, the tears from your fans leaving the ground , the anger and down right close call in not winning the Scottish cup was witnessed up close and personal by myself so please stop trying to say that it didn't matter as you're making an idiot of yourself in attempting to do so. Your Boys were all over winning the holy grail that day but just fell short .
