By the shite tops rule, we got exactly what we deserved from this tournament.

Aye ours was/is a proper 'relegation' top in league terms.

It should never be worn again IMO.

Eriksen on the counter there running with all the pace of someone who died 3 years ago.

Did Che Adams die 3 years ago?

Just there when the German lad took it down on the chest from a kick out shows a clear difference between top sides and Scotland.

One of our players would have missed the ball completely

Switzerland have clearly been a better team than Italy all tournament and deservedly beat them tonight yet you just know the English media will spin it as a “big name going out to further open up England’s path”

Unlike against us, nothing to show for their early “blitz”.

Danes growing into the game a bit.

Der Mannschaft have fallen right out of this

But all their players barring the goalkeeper play in Serie A, so not quite the same dynamic.

They used to be all world beaters

That's my view too.

Yes, Switzerland have been more impressive in this tournament than Italy, but I'd still see England as stronger favourites against Switzerland than Italy, were they to get that far.

There have been exceptions in this tournament but I still think it's likely that the ultimate winner will be one of the large, traditional powers.   I don't see anything wrong with an argument which points to the absence of such sides in England's half of the draw.

Few things bring me as much schadenfreude as watching the huge build up to a known “set piece taker” take a free-kick at scoring distance, only for them to hit the wall.
