diegomarahenry Posted Friday at 08:39 Share Posted Friday at 08:39 Ayr could finish anywhere from 1st to 10th Relegation favourites will be Hamilton, I’d throw Queens Park in the mix because they hit a slide at the end of the season and were ultimately out-shited by Inverness and the running of the club seems an absolute car crash. there is also always one comedy clown car of a team which is why I’m not ruling out Ayr from finishing 10th. I don’t think Livi will finish top, I don’t think Raith will either, maybe Thistle. Ayr have had to have a rebuild, been on the slide since McCall left and we had the worst defence in the league last season, we also went weeks without scoring goals. We have brought in one defender and a forward in Oakley who has never been prolific, while losing Chalmers. The rest are unknown quantities in Scotland so there is hope that they will do the business. Getting off to a good start pretty imperative though…. top four Thistle have a solid look to them and will be top four. I’m not at all sure what to make of Livi, could be right up there but I also wouldn’t rule out them having the kind of season ICT just did. Airdrie, Ayr, Falkirk should have decent seasons and be looking at top four I worry for Dunfermline (not really, more a figure of speech) see them, Morton and Hamilton down the bottom half and, like Livi, I’m not sure what we will see from Queens Pk…probably leaning more towards them struggling a bit though. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GMFC89 Posted Friday at 20:07 Share Posted Friday at 20:07 We’ve obviously had a bit of a rebuild on our hands this summer but so far I can’t say I’ve been disappointed with the lads who have been brought in. Two unknown qualities in there but the rest seem solid signings at this level. The question is will they gel together well and quick enough? Add another couple of defenders in there with another out and out striker and all being well I can see us pushing towards the top end of the table but that said it could very well go tits up and we’re struggling down the bottom end. The beauty of the championship eh! Based on not much at all really I reckon Livi could be the underachieving side in the league but not quite relegation material. Hamilton and QP to battle it out for the two bottom spots. Partick and Raith to lead the pack most of the way but fall away towards the end of the season and it to be the usual scramble to see who can hold some sort of form and secure the title in a league that it seems nobody wants to win. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
