Ayr Vs Airdrie 9th August

Recommended Posts

The Friday night football spectacular approaches. Two teams who will be happy with their first weekend's work.

Many questions to be answered:

Will Ayr's domination of the fixture roll on to this season?

Who will prevail in the battle of the media darling managers?

Which page will this thread turn into an absolute binfire? (The bookies are saying page 1)

When will Richey give us the ubiquitous "The Red Diamond"?

Stay tuned to find out.

Suspect this thread will descend into a complete and utter shambles fairly early

I've had to have two goes at posting it so we're not off to a strong start on that front...

Two goes at posting it and you still didn’t notice that a thread had already been started.

Maybe it’s best to keep this one segregated. We’ll retreat to the other thread.

Will take a point here given the calamity performances against Ayr last season. Hopeful we can go one better though and take all three points. Few injury concerns unfortunately so be interesting to see how we line up.

I’d get Murphy in for Hastie here. Maybe Watret for Musonda as well.

I don’t know a huge amount about Airdries forward line but Ben Wilson seems to be in good form and will be one to watch out for.

There’s potential for us to have a signing in place for this game as well.

Need to check the roof of the new stand for snipers if big D is coming up fae turnberry.

An Airdrie fan shot Willie Furphy after a game at Somerset.

Spoiler

Thats what was reported on Westsound, he was walking off the pitch and his hamstring popped and he thought he'd been shot with a ball bearing.

Only one thing is guaranteed - Michael Stewart will still be talking about how McMaster should’ve been sent off in the last game at Somerset Park…
