Over 35s

Who plays over 35s? What do you think of the standard. I've went back to playing and we're nearing the end of the season. It's been a learning curve in our first year together but overall I've enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Some absolute ballers in there!

I think it's decent enough. Naturally, the quality and fitness is lesser than most amateur level teams, but as you say, there are some really decent players in there. A good outlet for people, in a less pressurised environment, who still want to keep enjoying their football in later life when families, work and kids become the priority. It's obviously a lot slower in tempo but I like the way it's setup. Friday nights are a major pull too.

Started this year and it’s enjoyable , as stated no huge commitments needed as no training etc.  level is still good and plenty quality in most teams.  And bonus is Friday night games then have full weekend to yourself.

The top teams are of a high standard and could compete against a decent level of amateur team if not the top amateur sides.

I still play over 35’s and over 40’s. The standard is probably better than you expect it to be however somewhat more challenging this season since they disbanded the premier league so teams like EKYM who have Davie and Robbie Winters playing won our division at a canter
