Adamski
Today i've bought the Mark Lanegan and Fiery Furnaces albums. Looking forward to listening to them I saw the Fiery Furnaces a few months ago as the support band for Franz Ferdinand and thought they were pretty good. Toyed with the idea of getting the album. Any good?
joozy
I saw the Fiery Furnaces a few months ago as the support band for Franz Ferdinand and thought they were pretty good. Toyed with the idea of getting the album. Any good? They're excellent. Their first album, Gallowsbird's Bark, was a scuffed-up, drunken rock and roll riot. Blues-y and sparse but with some wonderful hooks it was one of the best albums of last year. The new album, Blueberry Boat, which i bought today is more experimental and feature some more epic moments. I've heard a couple of tracks from it and think it will be ace.
