senorsoupe Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 Listening to a bit of David Francey, Scottish born Canadian folk singer, he got his start near my home town before making it big (or as big as you can make it in the Canadian Folk scene). He worked as a roofer until he was in his 40's and was working on the roof of a guy who owned a pub that frequently had live music who heard him singing while he worked.
