Do you really think us students have a clue as to how to make food from scratch?:lol:

:o:rolleyes: Excuse me Larbert Par, I was a student and even I knew how to make macaroni and cheese. Its so easy and quick to do.

I've always wanted to try adding bacon into my macaroni - just don't know when to add it in.

I cook it and have it on the side. What is also nice is putting the macaroni into a casserole dish, sprinkling it with grated cheese, then putting slices of tomato on top before shoving it in the grill. Lovely! :D

Is that not time consuming?

But I'm a bloke and generally lazy.

I do know how to make a variety of pastas, I just generally can't be bothered making them. And when I do, they aren't a patch on my mum's cooking.

My mum adds bacon or ham to her mac cheese and it is absolutely fabby. I think she just piles it in while cooking the sauce. Tastes fab anyway!

At least women know what they are doing? Men just make it look like they know, but they don't really.

Why not oven cook them, that way you could watch them as they cooked or at least smell them if they were burning.
