kyle*
Anyone here ever got tickets to one of the NHL games?I'm in New York when the Rangers are at home to Chicago Blackhawks, but having problems getting a ticket. Ticketmaster doesn't list the event, I've tried Stub Hub, but their website won't accept a non American address. Any ideas? Late, but I've bought a few tickets off eBay, and I'm sure sellers will have no problem shipping to you if you pay for it. The Rangers website may have a ticket marketplace, where you may be able to purchase tickets and pick them up at the game. And at a last resort, there are always scalpers around the arenas.

Guest Future-SM-Keeper-Ere
Are the Maple Leafs looking any better this season? They've been terrible for the past three seasons.
Bluenose5
Didnt realise there was a 'all other sports' section. At least I know where the NHL thread is now. Go Habs Go!
Virtual Insanity
Are the Maple Leafs looking any better this season? They've been terrible for the past three seasons. First game is tonight so we shall see, but without Mats Sundin who is prancing around not deciding his future I can't see them making any significant improvements. Go Canucks!
kyle*
My tickets are coming through the mail. Can't wait for the season to finally begin. Ducks for the cup!
Savage Henry
I'll be honest, I completely forgot about hockey for a while there, I don't even know who the Sharks signed... Edited because I just looked up and found they signed a whole bunch of defencemen. And again, because I just realise that I'll be in Washington in November, which would fit in nicely with a game. Woo-hoo! Two weeks tomorrow I'll be there with the foam finger Edited September 25, 2008 by qpsnapper

Mr. Brightside
The puck is perfectly visible on TV too once you get used to it. That is exactly what I was going to say! Flames downed the Yotes yesterday 3-2 16 days I think

Virtual Insanity
Decent start on the good side of the Rockies too, although the Oilers are unlikely to be much of a threat this season, but it was a good victory over San Jose, who completely owned the Canucks last season.
Bluenose5
Pre-season going good for the Habs Wins over Buffalo, Detroit and Florida with just the slip-up against Ottawa.
