Glasgow Loon
From the YEP:- Leeds United’s bid for Kieran Agard dramatically collapsed today after the club and the winger failed to agree personal terms. Agard travelled to Leeds for talks this morning after Rotherham United accepted a bid last night but the move has fallen through. The 24-year-old’s agent, Lee Payne of Full Contact, said discussions broke down with Leeds unwilling to raise their offer to Agard above a set level. Payne told the YEP: “We just haven’t been able to agree personal terms. “Leeds were hopeful of getting him signed in time to play (against Middlesbrough) tomorrow but they were keeping their offer within a budget and we couldn’t agree to it.” United owner Massimo Cellino also confirmed that the deal was off and accused Agard of having a “bad attitude.” Agard appeared to be on the verge of becoming United’s 11th summer signing today having missed training with Rotherham to meet with officials at Elland Road. Leeds targeted Agard at the start of this week having scouted him regularly last season and Rotherham were open to the idea of selling him after he entered the final year of his contract and rejected the offer of an extension.
Glasgow Loon
Well done to Cellino for telling Agard and his agent to take a hike. Good to know that he has a budget and will stick to it. Seems Agard was asking for to much money and the length of contract couldnt be agreed on.
7-2
https://twitter.com/billysharp10/status/499570123943198721/photo/1 Sure is. And he seems well chuffed to have signed. Are Leeds the only club he's ever wanted to play for?
Glasgow Loon
Would have been happy with a point before the game so to get the win was a bonus. To me it was a typical championship game with both sides evenly matched and a mistake from either side was to prove costly and so it proved in the end.Roll on Tuesday night against a winless Brighton side.
sjc
Thought Boro's disallowed goal was harsh.
Glasgow Loon
I have seen them given and also not given. Adomah's foot was very high as warnock didnt duck down to try and head it but how close his head was to adomah's foot am not sure, it was the linesman's call.
7-2
Thought Boro's disallowed goal was harsh. Agreed. Not injuring somebody's getting more of a crime than actually doing it.

I get the whole high feet thing but what's the difference between the potential danger of this and say a centre half powering in with a flying header? Potential to clash heads? Could the Rotherham goal by the same token be classed as studs showing? Not knocking Leeds just curious...
Glasgow Loon
You could class the Rotherham goal as suds showing, as we know every referee see's it different. The ref gave the Boro goal but the linesman put his flag up and the ref agreed to change his verdict.
Honest_Man#1
I have seen them given and also not given. Adomah's foot was very high as warnock didnt duck down to try and head it but how close his head was to adomah's foot am not sure, it was the linesman's call. Did you watch the game? Warnock's head was blatantly lowered, it was a diving header! The ref gave the Boro goal but the linesman put his flag up and the ref agreed to change his verdict. Seriously, did you see the game?! The opposite is what happened! Stuart Atwell gave the foul, not the linesman, the linesman even said to Adomah that's what had happened when he ran over. -

Honest_Man#1
Misleading. After the ball has been kicked and Warnock has raised his head up again after going to clear it. -

Glasgow Loon
Paddy Kenny has had his contract terminated by mutual consent and Matt Smith has signed a new contract. Also looking like it will be another busy week for signings at ER as at least another 2 players are in talks.
